Plump, cuddly, Zillah came with her sister Smurf when she was middle-aged. Their mum was forced to part with them and they had been very much loved. Smurf and Zillah moved in with the resident girls, so fortunately Zillah had plenty of company after she lost her sister.

Zillah was a contented rat, with no real health problems except the one common to most elderly female rats - mammary tumours. One of Zillah's tumours was inoperable, but it didn't bother her for many months. She was put to sleep when the tumour eventually made her life impossible.
