Kink and her sister Stella came here when they were just a few months old. They had been well-cared for and loved but their owner couldn't keep them any more. They were sweet, friendly girls who immediately made themselves at home. They were endlessly lively and loved to play. Miss Kink's name came from the pronounced kink in her tail, which looked as if it had been broken when she was very young.

Sadly, the girls died within 10 days of each other from identical neurological symptoms probably caused by pituitary tumours. It was heartbreaking, the only consolation being that they were not separated for long.
