Imp and her sister Sprite came from an accidental litter born in the south of England. They were fated to be dumped on a pet shop, but were taken in by a kind hearted rat owner who turned them from terrified little bundles of fur into happy, sociable babies. They travelled to Edinburgh by relay and settled in well with a group of rescue girls. Imp was skinny and agile, and often climbed into places from which she had to be rescued.

She and Demon were the longest lived of the monster girls. Imp had some bleeding from her uterus which could not be stopped by antibiotics, so the decision was made to give her a chance by surgery. During the operation, she was discovered to have multiple tumours throughout her internal organs and we felt it was kinder not to wake her up. Her lifetime friend, Demon, died the following day.
