Demon and her sister Gremlin were pet shop rats, unwanted by their owner after just a week.How could anyone have resisted these pretty girls? They were very sneezy and wheezy when they arrived and needed almost a month of antibiotics before they were given the all clear by the vet. Demon was terrified of everything and everyone when she first came, but it didn't take long before she became a confident little rat. She had recurrent bouts of wheeziness, but was otherwise healthy.

Demon began showing neurological symptoms during the couple of weeks before her death. By the time her last remaining cagemate, Imp, died, she was too comatose to be distressed by the loss and she died the following day. We miss her cuddliness.
