Ben came with his brother Spike at the beginning of January 2006 when both were already quite elderly. Their owner had become allergic to them and didn't really know how to cope with Ben, who was in the late stages of a pituitary tumour when he arrived. We tried very hard to make him comfortable, and fed him baby food (he hadn't been able to eat and was starving). But he was only with a few days when he had to put to sleep.
